Job Description

Who We're Looking For
We're hiring a Laravel Developer who has been doing this for real — someone who has built and shipped production-grade web applications, knows their way around deployments, and can hold their own with some Node.js work when needed.
This is not a junior role. We expect you to come in, understand the codebase, and start contributing fast. If you also use AI coding tools to move faster without cutting corners — even better

What You'll Do

- Build and maintain Laravel-based web applications and APIs
- Develop frontend components using Vue.js (Vue 2 or Vue 3)
- Handle Node.js tasks where needed — backend services, scripting, integrations
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, App Runner)
- Integrate AI APIs such as OpenAI where the product requires it
- Use AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) to work efficiently
- Follow Git workflows — PRs, code reviews, clean branching
- Collaborate closely with product, QA, and design teams in a fully remote setup


What We Need From You

- Laravel (8+) — Must Have
2–3 years of professional Laravel experience
REST API design and development
Authentication systems: JWT, Sanctum, etc.
MySQL and relational database design

- Vue.js — Must Have
Vue 2 or Vue 3 hands-on experience
Building reusable frontend components

- Node.js — Some Experience Required
Backend APIs or scripting-level work
Not the primary stack but must be comfortable working with it

- AWS Deployment — Core Requirement
EC2, Lightsail, or App Runner
RDS for managed databases
S3 for storage
Basic IAM and security configuration

- Also Expected
Docker basics
CI/CD pipelines — GitHub Actions or similar
AI-assisted coding tools for productivity

Good to Have
Queues: Redis, SQS
WebSockets or real-time app experience
SaaS or multi-tenant product exposure
Basic DevOps / monitoring (CloudWatch, logs)
