Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team for a hybrid role with Banking client in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate is a native Dutch speaker with strong expertise in Java technologies, Agile delivery, and team leadership. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating enterprise-grade applications and frameworks within INGs dynamic digital ecosystem.

    Technical Expertise Required:
    • Java Technologies: Strong hands-on experience in Java 8, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, ORM, REST/JSON, JSP, Servlet, Java Beans, JDBC, EJB (Stateless), JMS, SQL, JUnit, Mockito, REST, and SOAP.

    • CI/CD & DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Maven, Nolio, Sonar, Jdepend, Selenium/Fortify, TDD/BDD (Cucumber), ELK or Prometheus.

    • Database: Solid knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.

    • Testing: Expertise in Unit Testing, Functional Testing, and Regression Testing using Karma, Selenium, or Fortify.

    Agile & Leadership Skills:
    • Proven experience working in Agile environments with strong command over Agile ceremonies.

    • Excellent interaction skills with Product Owners (PO), Customer Journey Experts (CJE), and Business stakeholders.

    • Ability to lead squads, challenge business discussions when needed, and ensure delivery excellence.

    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

    Design & Architecture Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of design patterns: Singleton, Factory, Abstract Factory, Facade, Decorator, Adapter, Strategy, and Front Controller.

    • Experience in building frameworks and reusable products from scratch.

    • Demonstrated thought leadership through white papers, technical presentations, or open-source contributions.

    Additional Experience:
    • Development of integration REST API layers between KYCO and multiple repositories (e.g., Master Data Management System, Document Repository, etc.).
