Client Company Introduction:

About the Role:
The Finance Officer plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across multiple entities. This position is responsible for managing accounting processes, financial reporting, tax compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making through reliable financial data.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage month-end closing, including accruals and provisions
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, trial balance)
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across entities
- Maintain data integrity within accounting systems Prepare and submit regulatory returns
2. Taxation & Compliance
- Manage multi-jurisdictional tax requirements (VAT, etc.)
- Ensure timely tax filings and payments with zero penalties
- Stay updated with regulatory and tax changes across regions
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance records
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Support Head of Finance in managing group accounts and consolidations
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and VAT processes
- Act as a point of contact for client financial and tax queries
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Support front office teams with tax and financial guidance
4. Audit & Management
- Support Assist in internal and external audits
- Provide financial insights and reporting to senior management
- Review and validate financial documentation with high accuracy
- Support multiple financial mandates and projects
Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards
- Experience with financial reporting and multi-entity accounting
- Expertise in taxation (VAT and multi-jurisdiction frameworks)
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle) and Excel
Skills & Knowledge
- Financial reporting and accounting expertise
- Taxation and regulatory understanding Audit preparation and compliance handling
- Strong documentation and data management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 7–10+ years of experience in financial services
- Experience with IFRS and accounting tools required
