Opening: AWS Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled AWS Data Architect with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud data architecture and AWS data services. The ideal candidate will design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end AWS-based data architecture, including ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics layers.

  • Build and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services.

  • Work extensively with S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, RDS, DynamoDB, and related services.

  • Define and enforce data modeling standards, data governance, metadata management, and best practices.

  • Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with security, performance, and cost optimization guidelines.

  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to convert requirements into technical architecture.

  • Establish data quality frameworks, cataloging, lineage, and monitoring mechanisms.

  • Provide technical leadership, documentation, and architectural guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles.

  • Strong expertise in designing data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and large-scale distributed systems.

  • Proficient in SQL, Python, PySpark, and ETL/ELT development.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services:

    • Storage: S3

    • Processing: Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions

    • Streaming: Kinesis

    • Warehouse: Redshift

    • Analytics: Athena, QuickSight

    • Security/Governance: IAM, Lake Formation

  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, CloudFormation or Terraform is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Solutions Architect or Data Analytics Specialty certification.

  • Knowledge of real-time streaming, Kafka, or event-driven architectures.

  • Experience working with BI/ML teams.

Work Timings: (Monday to Fri:11:30 AM - 8 PM)
Work Mode: Hybrid - Kolkata and Ahmadabad, India (Remote from Ahmadabad, India)
