Mediation Support Engineer | Morning Shift | Onsite -India Bangalore

About client:

A global IT and consulting company based in Bengaluru, India, providing IT services to clients worldwide across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities: 

Operator – Nokia Mediation
Run, recover, and improve Nokia Mediation pipelines for 4G/5G/IMS data. You'll ensure accurate, timely, compliant delivery of CDR/UDR/IPDR to billing/charging, analytics, fraud, and regulatory consumers.

You will:

• Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents; on-call for P1s
• Automate checks, recovery, and observability (Splunk)
• Reprocess & reconcile data; own completeness & timeliness
• Execute safe changes and lead RCAs

You bring:

• Strong Nokia Mediation (or equivalent) ops in telco production
• Linux, bash, Python, SQL; SFTP/HTTP/Kafka
• ITIL incident/problem/change; HA/DR knowledge
• Clear comms and ownership mindset

Nice-to-have: Kafka ecosystem, charging stacks, Ansible/Terraform, containers.
KPIs: Availability, completeness/timeliness, MTTR, change success, automation gains.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in telecom operations with 3–5+ years specifically on mediation/charging/billing pipelines.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering/Telecom (or equivalent experience).

Ways of Working

• Shift-based operations with on-call rotation for P1 incidents.
• Strong runbook culture; changes gated via CAB with tested rollbacks.
• Pairing/mentoring to raise team capability and reduce single points of failure.
