About Client
Hiring for a UK-based virtual food brand platform.
Role Objective
To drive brand growth, store-level GMV uplift, and campaign performance across all brands under the company through commercially driven marketing strategy, hands-on execution, and structured team building.
Core Responsibilities
Aggregator Revenue Growth & Campaign Strategy
- Design, execute, and optimise promotional mechanics (BOGOF, % discounts, bundles, LTOs).
- Manage and optimise in-app marketing placements across Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat.
- Allocate and manage aggregator marketing budgets in alignment with revenue strategy, in collaboration with Strategy and Finance teams.
- Track campaign uplift, visibility boosts, and ROI to continuously improve performance.
- Improve listing conversion through image optimisation, menu positioning, and offer structuring.
- Paid social advertising is not the primary focus of this role at the current stage.
Launch & Go-To-Market Execution
- Lead go-to-market strategies for new brand and store launches.
- Ensure all aggregator listings are fully optimised prior to launch.
- Coordinate launch creatives, signboard direction, and store visual consistency.
- Structure launch offers to maximise ranking, visibility, and early traction.
- Align closely with operations to ensure smooth and timely rollouts.
Brand & Content Oversight
- Own and manage the monthly campaign calendar across all brands.
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand positioning.
- Oversee creative assets including menus, banners, headers, and website updates.
- Plan and coordinate photoshoots and content production.
- Direct influencer collaborations where strategically relevant.
- In the early phase, be hands-on with creative execution when required (e.g., header updates, campaign creatives) until the department is fully built.
Reporting & Performance Management
Produce weekly and monthly marketing performance reports.
Track and analyse:
- GMV uplift per campaign
- Offer ROI
- In-app marketing performance
- Store launch performance
- Present insights, learnings, and recommendations directly to the founders.
Department Building & Leadership
- Structure and scale the marketing department.
- Hire, train, and manage Marketing Coordinators and Creative Executives as required.
- Implement reporting systems, campaign frameworks, and creative workflows.
- Build a performance-first, commercially driven marketing culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in food, retail, or e-commerce.
- Strong commercial understanding of revenue and promotional mechanics.
- Experience managing campaign strategy and optimisation.
- Comfortable analysing Excel-based revenue models and translating insights into marketing action.
- Basic hands-on creative capability (Canva / Adobe proficiency required).
- Organised, structured, and execution-focused.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-scaling, founder-led environment.
- Capable of building systems and processes from scratch.
- Experience managing large Meta ad budgets is not required at this stage.
