AI/ML Engineer (Remote | Pakistan | PKR Salary)

Client company introduction:

Hiring for a UAE-based SaaS product company recruiting talent locally from Pakistan for a fully remote position.

Role Overview

As an AI Engineer at Global Vertices, you will work across Generative AI and non-generative machine learning systems, embedding intelligence into real products. You must be comfortable combining conventional software engineering discipline with Vibe Coding techniques, while retaining full control over correctness, performance and architecture. You will be expected to own outcomes, not just experiments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end AI-powered products, from data ingestion through model inference to production APIs and applications.

• Develop and deploy Generative AI systems using LLMs for tasks such as reasoning, classification, summarisation, search, RAG and autonomous agents.

• Build and maintain classical ML models including classification, regression, clustering and recommendation systems where appropriate.

• Apply Vibe Coding productively while validating, refactoring and hardening AI-generated code for correctness, security and scalability.

• Architect production-grade AI services including model orchestration, prompt pipelines, evaluation and monitoring.

• Integrate AI systems into backend services and front-end or mobile applications via clean APIs.

• Optimise models and pipelines for performance, cost efficiency and reliability in real-world usage.

• Collaborate with software engineers, product leaders and domain experts to translate business problems into deployable AI solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet best practices around security, scalability, privacy, observability and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices.

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI systems including LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering and RAG architectures.

• Solid grounding in non-generative machine learning concepts and algorithms.

• Experience building production systems, not just notebooks or experiments.

• Ability to manage and validate AI-generated code ensuring it meets engineering

• standards.

• Experience exposing AI capabilities via REST APIs or microservices.

• Familiarity with data pipelines, model evaluation and deployment workflows.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving environment.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience with agentic AI systems and multi-agent orchestration.

• Exposure to MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring and CI/CD.

• Experience with vector databases and search systems.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or similar.

• Background in building AI products in regulated or high-reliability environments.

• Working Days: Monday - Friday
• Timings : Flexible 40 hours per week
