Fullstack Web Developer - Onsite - Rawalpindi

Company Overview:

Hiring for one of a leading Online Travel Agency (OTA) in the Travel & Tourism industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Activities & Tours Module

  1. Maintain our core Activities module which includes:
  2. Dynamic CRUD operations for activities with multiple configurable options
  3. Complex pricing logic based on Adult, Child, and other passenger categories
  4. Multi-supplier integration - each activity/tour option connected to different suppliers
  5. API integrations with suppliers for reservations and bookings
  6. Availability management (internal or API-controlled)

2. Booking System

  1. Maintain and enhance our comprehensive Booking System:
  2. Online booking management with real-time processing
  3. Manual booking workflows for offline reservations
  4. Automatic booking confirmation via supplier APIs
  5. Voucher generation and delivery to customers
  6. Booking modification, cancellation, and refund handling

3. Reservations Management

  1. All Bookings dashboard with advanced search and filtering
  2. Supplier Confirmation workflows
  3. Customer Confirmation system
  4. Upcoming Bookings tracking
  5. API Bookings management

4. Tours & Content Management

  1. Tours management
  2. Holiday Packages
  3. Tour Tickets management
  4. Reports & Analytics
  5. Accounts & Finance
  6. CMS (Content Management System)

Required Qualifications

  1. Experience Minimum 3-5 years of professional web development experience
  2. Product-level experience from companies like: Daraz, PakWheels, OLX, PriceOye, Homeshopping, Telemart, Mega.pk, or similar large-scale e-commerce/OTA platforms
  3. Proven track record of building and maintaining complex web applications
  4. Experience with high-traffic, scalable web applications

Technical Skills

  1. Strong proficiency in Laravel framework
  2. Expert-level Vue.js 3 with Composition API experience
  3. Nuxt 3 framework proficiency
  4. Tailwind CSS for modern UI development
  5. MySQL database design, optimization, and query writing
  6. RESTful API design and development
  7. Third-party API integration experience
  8. Server knowledge and deployment experience (DigitalOcean preferred)

Core Competencies

  1. Deep understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
  2. Experience with complex business logic implementation
  3. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  4. Code optimization and performance tuning
  5. Version control with Git
  6. Understanding of security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in Travel/Tourism/OTA industry
  2. Knowledge of booking engine architecture
  3. Familiarity with payment gateway integrations
  4. Experience with Redis or similar caching solutions
  5. Queue management systems (Laravel Queues, RabbitMQ, etc.)
  6. Docker containerization experience
  7. CI/CD pipeline knowledge
  8. Experience with monitoring and logging tools

Experience: 3+ years in Laraval + Vuejs
