  • Job description:

    To support the Sales in the completion and management of the tender process, ensuring our strategy to win the business is clearly articulated in a professional manner. An Ideal Candidate must have an academic background in creative writing, content writer, bid writer with a keen interest in developing a career within this field of bid writing- the role has the potential to a promotion.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • To deliver high standards of work through supporting others to complete tender questions
    • Write tender responses within the PQQ and ITTs

    • Follow the Companies Bid Process

    • Find tender opportunities, source documents and read to create breakdowns to share with your team
    • Be able to work on portals and co-ordinate the progress of your bid with your team
    • To help in the achievement of the sales target through quality submissions which improve our conversion ratio from submission to success
    • Ensure all documents are free from errors in grammar and professionally represent
    • To develop an effective library of information and liaise with other departments to keep this updated
    • To write and develop content for tender responses which are bespoke to the target market and involves creative writing
    • To work with BDMs to create marketing activity to fit within guidelines e.g. invites for events and case studies
    • Set and achieve tender deadlines by diary management Ensure all stakeholders receive regular feedback and advance notice of upcoming activity
    • Ensure you are known so new information is sent to you without having to ask
    • Contributes to documents by questioning others against the client objectives
    • Edit all content received to ensure meets standards and is bespoke to each prospects requirements
    • Be up to date with our prospects and competition to ensure responses are bespoke and deliver our strategy clearly
    • Deliver on time bespoke documents, editing all content received from the business
    • Responsibility of compiling and distributing bids within the team
    • Keep up to date with group business ventures and services, competitors, relationships with customers, clients and suppliers, market evolution
    • Help identify additional opportunity by getting to know client requirements
    • Builds relationships with colleagues to call upon if required to achieve a deadline
    • Achieve deadlines by motivating others to send content for tenders

    • Target and develop a network of influential internal and external contracts ones that are up for renewal and upcoming
    • Work with colleagues to fully understand our target clients

    • Set all deadlines for information to be received and managing these deadlines
    • To prepare presentations in a number of formats

    • Know at all times where we are against deadlines and communicate accordingly
    • To actively promote your own development to ensure ongoing sales success but you must show willingness to learn and grow in the organization
    • Demonstrate an open mind by listening to people with different opinions
    • Promote a professional image at all time

    TARGET:

    • 4 quality tenders including PQQs to be submitted a month

    • Follow up and debrief evaluation on a monthly basis with action plan

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (creative or bid writing background preferred).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills must confidently interact with UK-based clients in a professional manner.
    • Strong interpersonal and soft skills; must be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
    • Prior experience in the facilities management industry or with UK-based FM clients is a strong advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with tendering portals (e.g. Proactis, In-Tend, Contracts Finder) is preferred.
    • Experience with project tracking tools (e.g. Trello, Asana) and document management platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Google Drive) is a plus.

    Work Timings: 12:00pm 8:00pm (in Summers) and 1:00pm 9:00pm (in winters)

    Work Days: Monday- Friday

    Work Mode: Onsite

    Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi
