Electronic Data Interchange Administrator - remote from Pakistan

US Based Supermarket Giant is Expanding its team in Pakistan.

Position Summary:

 Our Company is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to own and manage our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with EDI standards (810 and 850), secure data transmissions (AS2/SFTP), and ERP integrations (CounterPoint). This role is critical to maintaining reliable B2B communications and data flows across systems and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all EDI activities including creation, validation, and transmission of 810 and 850 documents.

Maintain OpenAS2 servers, certificates, partner profiles, and secure endpoint connections.

Oversee parsing, validation, and routing of incoming EDI orders to website and ERP systems.

Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot EDI processing issues across systems and partners.

Administer and maintain the EDI engine and file automation scripts.

Document EDI workflows, partner setups, and integration logic.

Manage barcode logic for retail and wholesale transactions.

Support web and ERP teams in integrating and scaling EDI infrastructure.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience with EDI, AS2, and SFTP file transfers.

Proficiency in EDI standards (X12 810, 850) and transaction flow troubleshooting.

Experience with OpenAS2 or similar AS2 communication frameworks.

Understanding of ERP systems and order workflows (experience with CounterPoint is a plus).

Strong Linux/Windows server administration, scripting, and networking skills.

Ability to document, test, and deploy EDI changes across staging and production.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
