Position Summary:
The IT & Network Specialist Microsoft 365 will lead the development of the IT knowledge management strategy and provide expert guidance on enterprise architecture within the Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams, OneDrive, etc.). This role ensures alignment with organizational goals, privacy, security, and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in privacy, compliance, and cloud infrastructure, and will support end-user training, process improvement, and standardization of knowledge management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement an organization-wide knowledge management strategy using Microsoft 365 tools.

Create and maintain policies, procedures, and systems for effective knowledge sharing and information governance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align knowledge management and security practices with business objectives.

Provide expert-level guidance on enterprise architecture and governance within M365.
-
Develop and manage a roadmap for Microsoft 365 apps with a focus on innovation, privacy, and security.

Configure and implement M365-based solutions tailored to business needs while ensuring compliance with internal IT standards.

Create and manage RFQs/RFPs, lead vendor selection, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Draft briefing notes, reports, and action plans for the CEO/MD and senior leadership.

Develop training materials, conduct sessions, and support knowledge transfer across departments.

Collaborate with external vendors and manage related contracts and project deliverables.

Support departmental planning, budgeting, project management, and change initiatives.

Serve as a backup to the Senior IT Analyst as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field (College diploma with equivalent experience may be considered).

24 years of experience in IT knowledge management or a related discipline, with a strong emphasis on privacy and security.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Flow, Power BI, Power Platform, Dynamics).

Microsoft certification(s) preferred.

Experience working in a cloud-based IT environment.

Familiarity with modern security frameworks, data protection practices, and compliance standards.

Knowledge of SQL Server and Dataverse is an asset.

Experience managing small to medium-sized IT projects.

Work timings for the role: 9:30 am to 6:00pm
