About Our Client:

A US-based game management company.

Job Description:

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our fast-paced Live Operations team for a large international publisher. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring our games meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and user experience. This role involves identifying bugs, glitches, and other issues in our games and ensuring they are resolved before release.

Responsibilities:

Game Testing

  • Play and test games in various stages of development to identify and document bugs, glitches, and other issues.
  • Execute test cases and analyze results.

Bug Reporting

  • Report bugs and issues in a clear, concise, and detailed manner.

  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

Test Planning and Design

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on game requirements and specifications.
  • Design, create, and manage test environments for different types of testing (functional, regression, performance and related).

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with developers, and a Project manager to understand game features and mechanics.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for game improvements based on testing results.

Documentation

  • Document test procedures, results, and any issues encountered during testing.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of testing activities and progress.

Google Play/App Store/Discord Reviews

  • Keep an close eye on store reviews and highlight the important ones to the management.
  • Keep an close eye on discord feedback from players and highlight them.

Analytics/Product Health

  • Test all design analytics.

  • Keep a check on product health by daily looking at crash logs and important KPIs.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends.
  • Participate in QA team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 2-3 years of hands on experience in QA

  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of game development processes and lifecycle.

Work Mode: Onsite - Full Time

Location: Gulberg, Lahore

Experience: 2-3 Years

Days: Monday to Friday

Timing: 10am-7pm
