Job Details:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Reporting & Insights Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and presentation of marketing data reports. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis, a solid understanding of dashboard tools (preferably Looker Studio), and excellent communication skills to interpret complex data in a client-friendly manner.
Job Responsibilities
Review all marketing and lead generation reports in advance of meetings to ensure 100% data accuracy and completeness (formulas, proofreading, etc).
Present marketing lead performance data and marketing campaign results directly to clients clearly and confidently.
Analyze data period-over-period (WoW, MoM, QoQ, YoY) to detect trends, highlight performance shifts, and forecast outcomes considering seasonality and other external/internal factors.
Evaluate performance gaps and declining trends by diving deep into the root causes and data validity.
Create and manage data dashboards using tools like Looker Studio to visualize campaign and lead performance.
Translate complex datasets into actionable insights that support informed strategic decisions and client expectations.
Support other teams with data analysis.
Train and guide junior team members or cross-functional staff on best practices for reporting and insights extraction.
Maintain a high standard of report quality and ensure alignment with internal and client-facing OKRs.
Collaborate with digital marketing, SEO, and paid media teams to ensure data reflects actual outcomes and assists in campaign optimization.
Skills Required
4+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and dashboard tools (preferably Looker Studio or similar).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret trends, uncover insights, and present them in a structured format.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with data reports and metrics.
Proven ability to evaluate trends for internal variables (e.g., strategy shifts, budget allocation, team performance).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain data findings in client-facing meetings/ loom.
Ability to handle client questions and provide clear, data-backed answers confidently.
Clear understanding of lead pipelines, quote tracking, and sales performance reporting.
Must-Have:
Hands-on experience with Looker Studio or any other data visualization/dashboard tool.
Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with clients directly
Experience working with digital marketing metrics such as ROAS, lead-to-sale conversion rates, quote values, and campaign performance.
Previous experience working in a digital agency or marketing-focused environment is a plus.
Comfortable with fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
A proactive approach to solving data inconsistencies or reporting inefficiencies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with data connectors, query building, and report automation.
