A leading performance marketing agency serving 50+ US home-services businesses on recurring retainers. We build lead-generation engines through paid search, local SEO, conversion tracking, and lead analytics—making ROI visible in dollars.

About the Role 

The SEO Specialist owns hands-on execution of organic growth for a set of assigned client accounts — local SEO, technical SEO, content, and off-page — turning the SEO Manager's strategy into accurate, on-time, zero-error work. This is an individual-contributor role built for someone who proactively spots gaps and opportunities rather than waiting to be told.

Key Responsibilities

Local SEO Execution Google Business Profile optimization

• Local pack and Maps ranking work
• Citation integrity and consistency
• Review velocity and response management
• Service-area page build-out

AI Search Visibility (AEO/GEO) 

• Implement the structure and content that earns citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Bing/Copilot

Technical SEO 

• Monitor crawlability, indexation, and internal linking, and implement schema markup (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, Review, etc)
• Track site health via Search Console and audit tools
• Coordinate fixes with developers

Content & On-Page SEO Keyword research and search-intent mapping

• Guide content structure and on-page optimization
• Review content for quality, relevance, and intent alignment before it ships

Off-Page Coordination Support link-building execution

• Monitor backlink quality and flag risk
• Assist ethical outreach and authority-building efforts
• Build and maintain citations and Business listings

Reporting & Performance 

• Monitoring Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, and technical health
• Track Leads (Calls, Forms, GBP actions, etc)
• Flag performance drops early, before they surface in a scheduled report
• Support data-driven decision-making with clean, accurate data

LLM & Automation Contribution 

• Contribute to AI-assisted research workflows, content pipelines, and prompt frameworks for SEO tasks
• Proactive Ownership Validate your own work before it reaches QA or the client — zero-error mindset
• Flag gaps, risks, and opportunities before being asked

Tools and Technical Skills Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog

• Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4)
• Google Business Profile
• Clickup
• Citation and review management platforms
• AI/LLM tools for SEO research, content, and reporting workflows

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of hands-on SEO experience; agency experience preferred
• Proven local SEO results for service businesses, with before/after evidence such as map pack or grid rankings, GBP calls and actions, and review growth. Solid technical SEO fundamentals.
• Hands-on AEO/GEO experience: has worked on earning citations or mentions in AI answer engines and can show examples or a documented approach with tracking.
• Comfortable using AI tools, LLM workflows, and automation for research, content, and reporting
• High attention to detail with a demonstrated zero-error execution habit
• Proactive by default — surfaces issues and ideas without being asked
• English communication strong enough for internal reporting and occasional client-facing input
