We have an interesting career opportunity for a Strategic Purchaser in a leading international renewable energy company with a representative office in Ukraine.

The Company offers a complete assortment of on-grid and off-grid modules, inverters, mounting systems and essential accessories to PV professionals in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America. To achieve our Partner's ambitious goals in Ukraine, we are looking for a skilled Purchasing Manager. You will be the mastermind behind sourcing and purchasing the photovoltaic products for the Ukrainian market's needs. The Company is interested in a strong negotiator and a true team player who will partner up with the Sales team, Customer Care, and other roles to keep the Company's business moving forward.

Main Responsibilities:

• Strategic Purchasing & Alternative Sourcing: Negotiate the best commercial terms and build long-term partnerships that make sense for the Company business. Search for the best alternative sources and offers.
• Be a Partner to Sales & Tech Teams: You're the go-to person for the branch. You'll align on purchase forecasts, share fresh market insights, and manage the lifecycle of key products (like PV modules, inverters, and mounting systems).
• Inventory Management: Keep the inventory perfectly balanced. You'll make sure the Team has exactly what the market needs, when needed, without tying up unnecessary working capital.
• Data & E-shop Management: You'll handle the practical side of things – keeping the ERP up to date (pricing, SKUs) and adjusting the e-shop settings so the Company's products are well presented and easy to find.
• Close and intense collaboration with a senior supply chain colleague fully dedicated to the UA branch, based at Prague HQ. They will ensure that the products you've negotiated and secured reach the warehouse or the customer right on time.

Qualifications and professional experience:

• Your background: 3+ years of experience in strategic purchasing. You understand the end-to-end supply chain flow and know how to effectively optimize costs.
• Technical & System skills: You have hands-on experience with ERP systems. You also have a technical mindset - experience with photovoltaics or electrical components is a strong advantage.
• How you work: You are a capable negotiator who can handle busy periods and work independently. You are result-oriented, but just as importantly, you are an open-minded team player who will cooperate smoothly with sales and other colleagues.
• Languages: Very good English (C1) is essential, as you will use it daily to communicate with the Prague HQ and international suppliers.
