We have a new and interesting career opportunity for a Civil Design Engineer in Lithuania.
Our Partner is an independent renewable energy engineering and consulting company that has significant experience in designing ground & rooftop-mounted, floating and carport solar systems worldwide. The Company has been working in the solar design and engineering industry for 10+ years, and during this time it has gained a reputation as a trusted partner, known for the high quality of service, efficiency and accuracy of implementation.
The Company is actively expanding and is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Civil/Structural Design Engineer, who is willing to undertake civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering design for solar developments around the world. The main responsibility is that Civil/Structural engineering functions are to be carried out to current technical standards and good practice and shall include all associated and ancillary tasks which arise.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Review existing geotechnical factual reporting and providing where necessary and provide geotechnical interpretive reporting from the findings
- Review environmental/ecological/hydrological reports
- Review Topographic surveying
- Carry out civil and structural engineering design to include but not limited to the following: swept path analysis, site clearance and down takings, road design, earthworks modeling, drainage strategy and design, building/module foundation design, substation foundation design, cable routing and cable trench design, hard standing design, fencing, access road design, site landscaping
- Production of AutoCAD drawings (preferably but not compulsory)
- Production of Civil Scopes of Work Documents
- Hazard elimination and risk reduction register
- Production of Bills of Approximate Quantities
The Required Skills and Background:
- Have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the design of roads, buildings, and structures for industrial and commercial projects
- Have the ability to develop detailed yet practical and efficient designs for our clients
- Are familiar with all renewables (solar plants) areas and their interdependencies
- Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements would be considered an advantage
- High English language proficiency (Speaking and Writing), other languages would be an advantage
- AutoCAD knowledge would be an advantage
- Attention to details
- Strong communication skills and teamwork

Salary level:
Salary range will be formed after the final interview phase and will be based on your professional experience and personal competencies.
