Treasurer

Position: Treasurer (with Corporate Finance functions)
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

We have a great career opportunity of a Treasurer with Corporate Finance functions in Ukrainian Renewable Energy company with head office in Kyiv.

Our Partner owns and operates a large portfolio of renewable energy projects in Ukraine. The company focuses on the construction of large solar and wind projects, with an emphasis on sustainable development and reducing the impact of harmful emissions on the environment. Currently, the total capacity of the commissioned SPP projects is 576 MW. The company has also recently expanded its activities to develop wind energy projects and plans active geographical expansion in Central, Eastern Europe and the Middle East for the development of renewable projects.

We are currently looking for a skilled, highly motivated Treasurer who will be responsible for managing the company's financial activities, including raising credit capital, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and overseeing current accounts. The Candidate should have a strong background in corporate finance, experience in raising credit funds and a willingness to handle both investment and operational processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's financial activities, including cash management, investment management, and capital raising activities
• Oversee the company's current accounts to ensure timely payments and accurate reporting
• Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions
• Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Conduct due diligence on potential investments and acquisitions
• Participate in raising credit capital and production loans, including debt financing and equity financing
• Manage the company's cash flow, including forecasting and budgeting
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
• Manage the company's risk exposure, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk
• Provide financial advice and support to other departments within the company, including accounting, legal, and operations
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and external stakeholders

Qualifications and professional experience:

• Bachelors/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance or treasury department (preferably Energy or Production)
• Proven track record in raising credit capital, particularly in production or renewable energy sector
• English - C1 (Fluent) is a must for communication with foreign management / colleagues
