We have an exciting career opportunity for a Regional Manager in a leading international renewable energy company with a representative office in Ukraine.

Our Partner is a leading distributor and solutions provider of photovoltaic systems. The Company offers a complete assortment of on-grid and off-grid modules, inverters, mounting systems and essential accessories to PV professionals in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America. The Company is actively growing and attracting new talent for various exciting positions to grow the business further and help solar become the dominant source of energy in the world.

To achieve our Partner's ambitious goals in Ukraine, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Regional Manager to take the reins of the branch. You will form a tight-knit partnership with Area Sales Managers. While they focus on field execution and client acquisition, you will be the backbone of the region, managing the overall P&L, running the daily business operations, and making sure the whole team thrives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Run the branch: Take full ownership of the region's P&L and overall operations. You will directly manage, support, and develop the local team to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
  • Be a strategic partner to Sales: You have a commercial mindset and understand sales, but your primary focus here is building the operational environment that makes continued growth possible. Together with the sales leader, you will act as a unified driving force for the region.
  • Be the face of the brand: You will represent the company at various industry events and gatherings. You'll be the one building the Company's reputation and maintaining a credible presence in the Ukrainian market.
  • Bridge the gap with HQ: Act as the primary link between the Ukrainian branch and the headquarters. You will collaborate daily with central teams to ensure strategic alignment and efficient processes.
  • Lead by example: Set clear goals, mentor the local team, give honest feedback, and step in to help with day-to-day tasks when things get busy.
  • Make sense of the numbers: Keep an eye on KPIs, analyze market trends, identify risks, and translate data into practical steps that keep the region resilient.

Qualifications and professional experience:

  • A seasoned leader: You have at least 5 years of leadership experience, ideally in an international or multi-country setup.
  • Operationally strong, commercially aware: You understand B2B sales well enough to be a great sounding board, but your current strength lies in business administration, process optimization, and managing a P&L.
  • A mature and collaborative partner: You value shared success over hierarchy. You know how to build a balanced partnership with a driven sales counterpart, complementing their market focus with your structure and oversight.
  • A practical problem-solver: You can think two years ahead, but you are completely comfortable rolling up your sleeves and dealing with today's operational hiccups.
  • Fluent in English: Essential for your daily communication with HQ.
  • Experience with technical products or renewable energy (preferable but not required)
