About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Arabian Horse Show and Riding Coach to lead the training and preparation of Arabian horses for prestigious show competitions while coaching riders across various skill levels. This role combines exceptional horsemanship with rider development, competition management, and horse welfare to ensure outstanding performance both in and out of the arena.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Training Arabian horses for halter, performance, and ridden show classes.
• Designing individualized training and conditioning programs for horses based on their age, temperament, and abilities.
• Preparing horses physically and mentally for competitions and exhibitions.
• Delivering riding lessons and coaching riders from beginner to advanced levels.
• Developing rider progression plans and improving competition techniques and showmanship.
• Evaluating rider performance and providing continuous coaching and feedback.
• Preparing horses and riders for local, regional, and international competitions.
• Attending competitions and providing ringside coaching and support.
• Coordinating competition schedules, travel arrangements, and event entries.
• Monitoring horse health, fitness, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.
• Working closely with veterinarians, farriers, and stable staff to maintain the highest standards of horse care.
• Maintaining training, health, and performance records while ensuring safe riding practices and professional stable management.

About You

• A minimum of 5 years' experience training and presenting Arabian horses in show competitions.
• Proven experience coaching riders in competitive equestrian disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Arabian horse show standards, judging criteria, and competition preparation.
• Excellent riding and horsemanship skills with the ability to train horses both under saddle and from the ground.
• A solid understanding of equine health, conditioning, nutrition, and welfare (first aid knowledge is an advantage).
• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities with the flexibility to travel and work weekends or competition schedules when required.
• A genuine passion for Arabian horses and a commitment to achieving excellence in horse performance, rider development, and animal welfare.
