About the job General Services Officer

Our client, an international company providing integrated engineering, construction, and mining services, is seeking to hire a General Services Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize general affairs activities to ensure the effective delivery of services in compliance with company procedures.
  • Manage and oversee office services such as General Affairs, expatriate support, employee welfare, and security, ensuring all functions operate efficiently and in alignment with company standards and procedures.
  • Manage and analyze the validity of rented office buildings, coordinating with building owners regarding facility maintenance to ensure the continuous and smooth operation of building services.
  • Supervise and coordinate personnel involved in office service functions including security, carpool, office attendants, cleaning staff, and messenger services to ensure all operations run effectively and consistently with company standards and procedures

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in any discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar capacity
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with individuals, teams, and the wider community
  • High level of self-awareness and understanding of ones role and responsibilities
  • Experience in handling external matters and stakeholders
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) will be an advantage
  • Willingness to work beyond normal hours when required
