Position Title: Chief Executive Officer PPGL

Reports to: Board of Directors

Job Purpose:

Provide leadership for all aspects of the company's operations with an emphasis on long-term goals, growth, profit, and return on investment while closely coordinating and working with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team.

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Lead Company's LPG distribution network and operations across Pakistan and developing high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives and achievement of the goals and vision set by the board of directors.
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership as well as creating a vision for success by reviewing and revise the Company direction in light of changing business environment.
  • Ensures the company's compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
  • Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Interact and negotiate with plant and technology suppliers, contractors, consultants, financial institutions, vendors, service providers etc.
  • Making strategic decisions such as investments, capital projects, technological improvements, manpower, assets, insurance, etc.
  • Liaison with Regulators and government authorities.
  • Ensuring integrity and security of Company's operations and facilities (i.e. plants, equipment, utilities and infrastructure at filling plants, gas centers and other locations).
  • Mentor and interact with staff members at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among the senior executive team and all staff members.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:

    • The candidate should possess a degree in Engineering or post-graduation (or equivalent) in Business Administration or Finance.
    • Proven business management professional with a minimum of 20 years of experience in the downstream energy or Oil & Gas sector, particularly in Operations, Sales, and Marketing domains.
    • Must have at least 5 years of experience at a senior leadership position in a large business organization.
