Job Description
Position: Assistant Manager Procurement
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Industry: Ports & Logistics / Procurement
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts with suppliers and service providers.
Monitor contract performance, renewals, and compliance with legal and corporate standards.
Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
Manage RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and recommend vendors.
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Engineering, Operations & Finance teams.
Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality and service excellence.
Support audits, maintain documentation, and ensure procurement compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelors (16 years) in Law, Business Management, or Engineering specialization/certification in Supply Chain preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement or contract management.
️ Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
️ Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.
