Company Overview: Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and refine financial models, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and perform detailed business valuations and due diligence for investments and new projects.
  • Lead budget planning and forecasting processes, estimate revenues and expenditures, and provide strategic recommendations to align financial plans with organizational goals.
  • Prepare periodic reports on business performance, budget adherence, and key outcomes. Highlight trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and present actionable insights to senior management.
  • Analyze market trends, industry data, and economic indicators to assess potential risks, opportunities, and factors impacting products, regions, or industries.
  • Assess the commercial, technical, and financial viability of proposed initiatives and capital projects, ensuring sound business cases and return-on-investment analysis.
  • Identify and evaluate financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and contribute to the development of internal controls and governance frameworks.
  • Consolidate and review annual budgets and business plans, monitor expenditure patterns, and ensure effective CAPEX utilization through variance analysis and monthly reporting.
  • Provide expert financial insights to support executive decision-making, collaborate with leaders across functions, and deliver Board packs and executive-ready presentations.
  • Recommend enhancements to financial planning, reporting, and CAPEX management processes while implementing accounting best practices.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Education

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization among which 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Visio)
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • Understanding and analyzing data sets and econometrics.
  • Strong understanding of financial models and business valuation techniques.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Strong ownership of projects from ideation to delivery with disciplined stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in financial modelling, executive-level pitch decks, presentations, and concept papers.
  • Skilled at synthesizing complex research and project data into clear, actionable insights for decision-makers.

Age
