Geomatic Engineer

Job Description:
"1.Responsible for surveying tasks in mine slopes, open pits, waste dumps, and related areas, ensuring survey data accuracy and reliability.

2.Prepare and regularly update pit survey maps, cross-sectional diagrams, and slope monitoring charts to provide technical support for production scheduling and mining design.

3.Operate total stations, RTK, UAVs, and similar equipment for field surveying and data acquisition; develop Digital Elevation Models (DEMs); organize, analyze, and prepare reports on geomatics data.

4.Collaborate with the Chinese technical team on ore verification, surface deformation monitoring, and management and analysis of survey data.

5.Work closely with production, design, mining, and other departments to provide timely geomatics technical support.

6.Assist in improving the geomatics skills of team members; stay updated on the latest industry developments and continuously optimize surveying processes.

Strictly follow safety protocols to ensure safe and standardized operations during all surveying activities."

Qualification:
1.Bachelors degree or above in geomatics engineering, mining surveying, engineering surveying, or related fields.

2.Minimum of 5 years experience in open-pit mining geomatics with strong familiarity with surveying technologies and workflows for mining areas.

3.Proficient in mainstream surveying equipment, including total stations, RTK, and UAVs.

4.Skilled in mainstream geomatics and data processing software (including but not limited to AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Global Mapper, ContextCapture, Agisoft Metashape, Google Earth); proficient in common office software.

5.Good physical health, able to work in the field and adapt to high-intensity working conditions; excellent teamwork and communication skills.

6.Good command of English, both written and spoken.

7.Strong sense of responsibility, with independent working and problem-solving capabilities.

8.Registered survey engineer certificate or intermediate professional qualification is preferred; UAV operator license is a plus.
