Job Purpose:

Responsible to conduct regular detailed financial analysis, monitor performance metrics and report insights to provide a clear strategic view of financial health, allowing for informed financial decision making and solid growth.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct regular detailed and comprehensive financial analyses including forecasts, trends, risks and opportunities to allow for clear visibility of the financial performance.
  • Update budgeting process, review budget performance and provide insights for cost control ensuring budget alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Support the compilation and analysis of financial data and prepare financial reports and presentations highlighting key insights and trends.
  • Ensure consistency in data reporting standards across different operations and reporting environments.
  • Analyze and determine correlations between business performance KPIs including revenue, EBITDA, volumes and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Provide reporting on performance metrics versus competitors and international standards.
  • Review expenses and identify cost saving opportunities and process efficiency initiatives.
  • Assist in supervising financial risks and periodically review mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in the development of  financial models to support long term financial planning, analysis and forecasting.

Qualifications, experience and skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
  • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
  • A minimum of 6-8 of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent experience in financial models, financial management, budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Ability to comprehend numerical and statistical data
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using financial softwares/tools and data analysis
  • Ability to use IT applications to report, manipulate, design and analyse data.
  • Experience with variety of other strategy management approaches and
  • methodologies advantageous
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to analyse problems and identify creative, realistic solutions
