Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of Human Resources operations within the organization. It requires strategic vision, strong execution capabilities, and a people-centric mindset to build an inclusive, high-performance culture. The incumbent will oversee HR policy development, recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and the integration of technology and ESG principles into HR practices. The position plays a pivotal role in shaping organizational values through leadership development, DEI initiatives, and a strong Speak Up culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic manpower planning and ensure timely recruitment aligned with organizational needs. Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle including advertising, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiation.
- Collaborate with the BHRC and CEO to review, adapt, and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure fair, transparent, and consistent application across all functions.
- Promote a Speak Up culture by fostering open communication, psychological safety, and a trust-based environment where all voices are valued.
- Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by embedding inclusive practices into recruitment, development, and culture-building initiatives.
- Design and manage leadership development programs that build future-ready capabilities, strengthen internal succession, and support continuous learning.
- Partner with leadership to integrate ESG principles into talent strategies encouraging socially responsible practices, ethical leadership, and environmental mindfulness in the workplace.
- Manage periodic performance evaluation cycles and align them with strategic goals, employee development, and reward programs.
- Conduct regular job analysis to ensure position descriptions remain relevant and accurately reflect organizational needs.
- Review compensation policies to ensure competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with performance and market benchmarks.
- Facilitate staff learning and development initiatives based on individual and organizational needs. Identify training resources and oversee delivery.
- Address employee relations with empathy and fairness including grievances, discipline, coaching, and offboarding processes.
- Foster employee engagement through active listening, recognition initiatives, and well-being programs.
- Define clear performance expectations and develop KPIs to measure outcomes at corporate and functional levels.
- Oversee HR budgeting, workforce analytics, and long-term resource planning aligned with organizational growth.
- Utilize HRMS platforms such as Decibel to automate and optimize core HR functions including recruitment, attendance, payroll, performance management, and employee self-service to support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
- MBA/Masters from a recognized university; membership of a recognized body
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior, preferably in a listed entity.
