Job Overview
Our client, a leading name in academia, is looking for a Head of Marketing for their head office in Lahore. The Head of Marketing will provide strategic leadership to the marketing function, driving initiatives to promote the Group's brand across various channels. Their responsibilities will include market analysis, campaign management, team development, brand extension, stakeholder communication, project supervision, and public relations. Their leadership and strategic vision will contribute to enhancing the Group's brand presence and market positioning.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Lead the marketing function and collaborate with the Board to develop strategies aimed at promoting the Group's brand
Market Analysis and Planning:
- Supervise the identification of Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) and niche markets to develop comprehensive marketing plans.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the annual marketing budget.
Market Research and Strategy Development:
- Gather information on new trends, competitors, and emerging business opportunities to devise effective marketing strategies for the group.
Campaign Management:
- Oversee all marketing campaigns across various channels including Above-the-Line (ATL), Below-the-Line (BTL), and social media platforms.
Team Coaching and Development:
- Coach the marketing team on corporate branding aspects such as alumni engagement, corporate events, and website management.
- Lead the professional development of the team through continuous training on the latest market trends.
Brand Extension and Growth:
- Initiate the expansion of the brand's reach nationally and internationally.
- Focus on need-specific promotions and launch international projects to enhance brand visibility.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders while aligning with organizations values and objectives.
Project Supervision and Resource Management:
- Supervise key projects including shoots, TVCs/DVCs production, and other departmental initiatives.
- Lead negotiations with media agencies and secure agreements for the production of promotional materials.
Public Relations and Media Interaction:
- Supervise public relations activities and engage with the media to ensure adequate and positive media coverage to enhance the group's corporate image.
Internal Customer Service Department:
- Oversee the optimal functioning of Internal Customer Service Department, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Minimum 10 plus years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, with a track record of success in developing and implementing marketing strategies
