Job Purpose:

This position is responsible to lead growth initiatives and build lasting relationships with key clients and partners. This role will focus on expanding company's market share in port and terminal services, identifying new business opportunities, and enhancing the companys commercial performance in alignment with industry trends and customer demands.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine  value proposition.
  • Lead contract negotiations, proposals, and presentations to clients and partners.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, finance, and legal teams to align business goals and client requirements.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's brand and services.
  • Track pipeline performance and report on growth KPIs for the Management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, importers/exporters, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure Quality, Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance.
  • Design and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to increase terminal utilization and revenue.
  • Identify and convert opportunities into long-term commercial successes

Qualifications, experience and skills required: 

  • Bachelors in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • 5-8 years of experience in business development, preferably in port operations, shipping, or logistics industries.
