Our client, a nonprofit working to improve global health through affordable products, social marketing, and stronger health systems, is hiring a Field Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility as focal person of assigned districts to support planning, implementation, monitoring, and supervision of activities under DISC 2.0 in Sindh, while ensuring coordination and liaison at the district and provincial level.
  • Assist the Deputy Manager Field Ops for coordination with project partners on regular basis to ensure project deliverables and milestones are met per the project log-frame.
  • Organize and conduct orientation, inception and dissemination workshops related to project activities in the district(s).
  • As a project focal point at the district, coordinate, organize and facilitate one-to-one meetings with relevant key stakeholders to develop follow-up action plans. When needed, coordinate with all stakeholders and ensure their participation in meetings at the provincial / district level.
  • Establish contacts and set up coordination mechanisms with public health facilities and community mobilizers at the district in order to track gaps and assist in addressing them.
  • Work closely with district health authorities for nominations of trainings, attendance at conferences / meetings and events and other project related activities.
  • Monitor and mentor district level DISC 2.0 partners and assess their competency levels, identify areas that need support and communicate them to Deputy Manager Field Ops, with constructive suggestions.
  • Meet regularly with provincial health and population teams to update and share any gaps for delivering high-quality health / FP / DMPA-SC SI services at the district(s).
  • Coordinate, when required for external delegates visits to the district and organize meetings of the delegation(s) with the project stakeholders in the province.
  • Track performance indicators, success criteria, targets, and milestones, and compile this information into a presentable format for the program team.
  • Collect data from health facility or district office based on requirements.
  • Prepare and send weekly, monthly, quarterly updates as required by Deputy Manager Field Ops.
  • Assist to ensure timely response and execution of any request from the core team.
  • Maintain all program documentation systematically - Create and maintain filing systems, classifying, and tracking project specific documentation and design innovative ways to manage knowledge and information tracking needs, including compilation of selected metrics
  • Represent the nonprofit at conferences and other public forums when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum masters degree in public health or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management within the non-profit sector, including experience working with implementing partners.
  • Experience of working at the district level in Sindh, preferably for health-related initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of program design, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
  • Basic data analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Initiative and willingness to learn, with skills in knowledge transfer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Availability to frequently travel across Sindh, Pakistan.
  • Excellent project management skills with analytical and quick problem-solving skills.
