Position: Contractor Compliance Officer

Location: Reko Diq Mine Site Balochistan

Qualification: Bachelors degree in law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in contractor compliance, risk management, procurement, or related roles, preferably within the mining or construction industries.

Requirements

Sound knowledge of local laws, regulations, and industry best practices regarding contractor compliance and management.
Strong observational and auditing skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with contractors and internal stakeholders.
Ability to analyze compliance data and prepare detailed reports.
Proficient in managing Damstra onboarding system (advantageous).
Proficient in SAP Ariba and other compliance monitoring tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Urdu or Baloch is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular site inspections and audits of contractor activities to ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and report on contractor adherence to compliance standards and expectations.
Collaborate with departments including Procurement, Legal, HSE, Security, HR, Operations, Finance, and Projects to embed compliance across the contract lifecycle.
Prepare and assist in the development of compliance reports and documentation for internal management review.
Coordinate and deliver training and awareness sessions for contractors to support compliance improvements.
Identify non-compliance issues, document findings, and track corrective and preventive action plans.
Support investigations of contractor-related non-conformance incidents and ensure effective follow-up.
Maintain and update records of contractor certifications, compliance status, and audit findings.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of contractor compliance systems, processes, and controls.
