We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The IT Support Specialist will respond to queries, isolate problems, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance of our technology infrastructure. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, or in person.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.

Set up and troubleshoot network connections, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement IT solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

Ensure security measures are in place and systems are up-to-date with patches and antivirus software.

Document all support activities, solutions, and procedures for future reference.

Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices.

Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software.

Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends to provide proactive support and recommendations.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.

Familiarity with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

Experience with remote desktop support tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
