COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Our client, a Karachi-based, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI), seeks to appoint an experienced professional for the following role:

Job Role

The Product Expert Loyalty & Rewards will support the design, development, and enhancement of our rewards program to increase wallet engagement, strengthen retention, and grow customer lifetime value. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and strong analytical skills to ensure a high-impact loyalty experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the loyalty and rewards product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the broader business goals
  • Design and manage reward mechanics (points, cashback, tiers, gamification) that incentivize key user behaviours (e.g., frequent top-ups, high transaction volume)
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to ideate, build, test, and launch rewards features
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage partnerships with third-party brands for reward programs (co-branded offers, merchant discounts, brand rewards)
  • Analyse loyalty program performance (e.g., redemption rate, active users, ROI) and run experiments (A/B tests) to optimize engagement
  • Gather and act on user feedback to iterate on reward features
  • Ensure compliance and risk management in reward design (fraud, abuse, regulatory constraints)
  • Act as the internal expert on loyalty: educate teams, answer product questions, and help stakeholders understand reward dynamics
  • Monitor market trends, competitive loyalty offerings, and emerging models (e.g., in fintech or gaming) to keep our program cutting-edge

Education

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field from an HEC-recognized or equivalent foreign institution.

Experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position
  • Prior experience in product management, with a focus on loyalty, rewards, or customer engagement programs (fintech experience is a big plus)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, operations)

Requirements

  • Data-driven mindset: ability to define, measure, and analyse loyalty KPIs
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with cohort analysis, retention metrics, and financial modelling
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Good understanding of gamification, behavioural design, and incentives
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance business goals with user value
  • Familiarity with compliance / regulatory issues related to rewards and promotions (especially in financial services)

Age
