Accounts and Taxation Manager

HRSI is looking for Accounts and Taxation Manager for one of its leading client in pakistan

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management

• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

2. Taxation Management

• Ensure timely preparation and submission of all tax returns (income tax, sales tax/VAT, withholding tax, etc.).

• Monitor compliance with tax regulations and updates in tax laws.

• Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities regarding audits and notices.

• Develop tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities while maintaining compliance.

3. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare financial reports for management and regulatory authorities.

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal controls.

• Assist in external and internal audits.

4. Budgeting and Planning

• Prepare annual budgets and monitor financial performance against budget.

• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.

5. Team Management

• Supervise and guide accounting staff.

• Ensure proper documentation and accounting processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
