Qualification

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Hiab driver/operator, preferably with a 17-ton capacity truck.

Requirements

• Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Hiab driver operator, preferably with a 17-ton capacity truck.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness (Dover test).
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to operate a Hiab crane safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Hiab truck with a lifting capacity of 17 tons to transport and deliver loads to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Hiab truck to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Secure loads properly on the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Operate the Hiab crane to lift and position heavy loads with precision.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and operating the Hiab truck.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including load information, mileage, and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform routine maintenance on the Hiab truck and crane to ensure they are in good working order.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
