The Electrical Support Engineer will be in charge of planning, designing, and implementing the plants electrical infrastructure and energy optimization projects. This includes power substations, distribution networks, transmission lines, lighting systems, and electrical components related to machinery installations. The role ensures that all installations meet internal design standards and comply with regulatory codes. It also involves leading the implementation of utilities systems such as water and wastewater treatment. The position manages both project timelines and budgets during the construction phase to ensure on-time delivery and full alignment with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review plans and technical designs for electrical systems, diagrams, and energy-saving initiatives.

  • Oversee project timelines for all electrical facility and systems installations.

  • Conduct field inspections to verify adherence to safety and health regulations.

  • Coordinate with multiple OEM vendors, including international partners.

  • Manage safety risks associated with equipment installation and oversee involved personnel.

  • Address communication gaps with various equipment vendors to ensure project continuity.

  • Formulate solutions for project execution issues and delays.

  • Assess and validate construction and installation designs related to electrical works.

  • Engage and align internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery.

  • Ensure daily operational activities are aligned with the strategic project plan through effective project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical).

  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical system installations and energy efficiency projects.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience working on greenfield projects is preferred.

  • Project Management certification is an advantage.

  • Must be a licensed Electrical Engineer.
