This role reports functionally to the UK Climate Change Technical Director and administratively to the GBS Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out verification assignments under the UK Climate Change Programme (CCP), primarily in the capacity of Lead Assessor or Technical Reviewer for voluntary greenhouse gas inventory verifications.
  • Prepare proposals for both new and existing clients related to GHG verification services.
  • Lead large-scale client projects, ensuring effective management and delivery.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across various industry sectors such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Industrial Processes, and Land Use Change.
  • Serve as the main client liaison throughout project engagements.
  • Deliver GHG verification services to global clients in strict alignment with internal protocols and service agreements.
  • Offer technical input to help clients maintain and improve their internal quality management systems.
  • Oversee full-cycle project management, from planning through reporting, for complex client engagements.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, including quality, environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Uphold the Company's Code of Integrity, along with QHSE and HR policies.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree (preferably in Chemical Engineering or a discipline related to climate change), or a relevant Bachelor's degree with complementary industry experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related technical field is required.
  • Background in GHG verification, environmental auditing, consulting, or emissions inventory verification is essential.
  • Proficiency in Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions calculation methodologies.
  • Sector-specific knowledge in areas such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Process Industries, or Land Use Change.
  • Strong command of English (C1 level or above); knowledge of other languages is a plus.
