Location: Philippines

Position Purpose

The Quality Assurance Lead will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality,

internally developed enterprise software platform deployed across Europe and Asia Pacific. This

role involves creating comprehensive test plans, collaborating with distributed teams across

multiple regions, and working closely with Build teams to support successful software

deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Development and Quality Assurance

Develop and maintain test plans to support the delivery of the Commercial Risk Eco

System in Europe and Australia.

Establish and uphold QA standards, best practices, and testing methodologies as part of

the delivery framework.

Define, communicate, and execute the required testing scope to meet project and

business objectives.

Provide guidance to QA teams on effective testing strategies and approaches to ensure

high-quality deliverables.

Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress within the QA team.

Collaborate with the test team to design and execute comprehensive test scenarios

covering all functional and technical requirements.

Review and assess issues raised by the team, logging and managing tickets in Azure

DevOps when necessary.

Evaluate and implement test automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing

efficiency and coverage.

Governance and Delivery

Ensure compliance with organizational processes and security standards.

Coordinate with security teams on the resolution of any security-related issues.

Work closely with support teams to enhance skills, knowledge sharing, and tool

adoption.

People and Financial Management

No direct reports or financial responsibilities at this stage.

Innovative thinker with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills in

French, Dutch, or German are a plus.

Empathy and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse teams and

cultures.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including solid

knowledge of testing methodologies, terminology, scripting, and test reporting.

Proven experience in mentoring and guiding QA teams in best practices.

Strong background in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test

scenarios with thorough documentation of results.

Expertise in defect tracking and management, including leading program-level defect

triage across multiple teams.

Excellent multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced,

complex environment.

Good understanding of change management and how testing supports business

outcomes.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in large enterprise environments and within Agile/Scrum teams.

Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across distributed teams

and diverse cultures.

Background in the insurance or financial services industry is highly desirable.
