Role Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, proactively drawing out requirements from stakeholders and translating these into requirements, including use cases and user stories. Adding these to the backlog.
- Mapping of end to end as is and to be business processes.
- Being able to consider requirements for different regions and how these impact the global org structure and working with the business for requirements sign off.
- Identifies and resolves problems which may impact projects by monitoring progress and project status. Escalates important issues to senior leadership ensuring that decisions can be made promptly.
- Transition from project phases to business as usual, ensuring a seamless shift in support and change management.
- Good understanding of change management and release processes.
- Organise and manage UAT test sessions with the business and write test cases for the business to follow. Gathering global sign off for the build and deployment to go ahead.
- Responsible for the validation of functional and non-functional requirements and ensuring a well-defined acceptance criteria ahead of sprint planning meetings.
- Formal and informal relationships, and very pro-active communications are developed and maintained, both within the department and between all business stakeholders, to promote an exceptional understanding of goals, timescales, requirements and benefits as well as collaboration and feedback.
Qualifications
- 3+ years BA experience
- 1+ years' Workday BA (or similar) experience
- Demonstrable experience of covering the complete project life cycle, in a structured environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word tools including Word, Excel and Visio.
- Worked within a Scrum framework Agile methodology.
- Previous project experience with interfaces between multiple systems.
- Experience working with both on premise and SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge around CICD deployments and Jira
- Previous experience of working across multi-state locations and time zones.
- Experience in the technology sector, even better in the professional services world is desirable.
