The IT Access & Provisioning Specialist is responsible for managing user access to enterprise applications and systems in a secure, efficient, and compliant manner. This role supports U.S.-based operations by provisioning, modifying, and deactivating user access across a wide range of business-critical applications. The specialist ensures that access is granted in accordance with established policies and procedures, supports audit and compliance efforts, and contributes to the overall security posture of the organization.

  • Provision, modify, and revoke user access to enterprise applications, systems, and services based on approved requests.
  • Ensure all access provisioning activities comply with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and business teams to support onboarding, offboarding, and role change processes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to implement updates and changes to critical Electronic Health Record (EHR) applications.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of support needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of access changes and approvals using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Monitor and manage access request queues, ensuring timely resolution within defined SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot access-related issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate support teams.
  • Participate in periodic access reviews and assist with internal and external audit requests.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles related to access provisioning.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to identity lifecycle management and access governance.

Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT access provisioning, identity and access management (IAM), or a related IT support role.
  • Strong understanding of access control principles and user account lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and enterprise applications such as Microsoft 365, SAP, and ServiceNow.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) for managing and tracking access requests.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based operations or working in a global delivery model is preferred.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA) is a plus.
