Key Responsibilities

Event Data Store Management

  • Act as the technical lead and analyst for the Events Data Store, ensuring data related to global and regional B2B events is accurate, timely, and integrated across downstream platforms.
  • Own the design and maintenance of data dictionaries, event schemas, and metadata standards to ensure alignment with customer experience goals.
  • Define and implement data processing logic and validation layers for complex, multi-source B2B event data including attendee engagement, session interaction, lead generation, and digital behaviors.

Cross-System Data Integration

  • Lead and manage data flows from event platforms to enterprise systems, including Salesforce (SFDC), VDC, Concur, GE Data Team, CDF, SIIA, and other internal & vendor-managed technologies.
  • Ensure synchronization between event data and downstream sales/marketing systems to support account-based marketing (ABM), lead scoring, and sales enablement strategies.
  • Support onboarding and transformation of event data into the Unified Data Lake, aligned with enterprise data strategy.

Business Collaboration & Documentation

  • Translate stakeholder needs into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and user stories to guide development and integration efforts with IT and analytics partners.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, process flows, and SOPs used by configuration, marketing operations (MOPS), and engineering teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between marketing and technical teams to ensure successful deployment of customer experience capabilities tied to event data.

Testing & Monitoring for B2B Events

  • Execute pre-, during-, and post-event testing of data pipelines to ensure robust performance and business continuity during major high-tech B2B events.
  • Design and lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) scenarios focused on real-world business use cases and lead tracking requirements.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live event data performance across platforms, escalating issues and driving resolutions rapidly.

Data Activation Support

  • Write and maintain scripts and automation to distribute Live session engagement and contact data to Business Entities (BEs), enabling real-time follow-up and campaign targeting.
  • Enable segmentation and personalization efforts by delivering clean, enriched data to marketing automation and personalization engines.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or MarTech roles, ideally within a high-tech B2B marketing environment.
  • Strong background in customer data engineering, data integration, and governance across global enterprise systems.
  • Experience with B2B event marketing data and deep understanding of marketing funnels, buyer journeys, and lead lifecycle management.
  • Experience with tools such as SQL, Python, Snowflake, AWS/Azure, ETL platforms, and visualization/reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of working across marketing, IT, and analytics stakeholders in a global matrixed organization.

Good-to-have Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise events is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Event Management tools (e.g. Rainfocus), marketing automation tools (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo), tag management, and customer data platforms (CDPs).
  • Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other data compliance regulations in a B2B context.
