About the job HR Manager

As HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources for the organization, including the transition from an Employer of Record (EOR) setup to a fully in-house HR function. This role requires a proactive leader capable of building strong HR foundations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and managing key HR vendor relationships to support organizational growth and operational excellence.

  • HR Transition & Operations Lead the seamless migration of all HR functions from an EOR arrangement to internal management. Establish HR policies, systems, and processes for recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development Oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain high-caliber talent. Implement performance management and learning programs to enhance workforce capability and engagement.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance Ensure adherence to Philippine labor laws and company policies. Serve as a key contact for employee concerns, fostering a culture of transparency, respect, and accountability.
  • Compensation & Benefits Management Develop and administer compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentive plans. Partner with finance and leadership to ensure competitive and compliant HR practices.
  • Vendor Coordination & Partnership Management Manage relationships with HR- related vendors including benefits providers, recruitment partners, training firms, and legal consultants. Evaluate performance and negotiate terms to maximize organizational value.
  • Organizational Culture & Engagement Champion a high-performance and people first culture aligned with the organizations mission and values. Design and execute initiatives that promote employee well-being and engagement.

Qualification

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner in a fast-growing, technology-enabled, or operations-driven organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR compliance, and HRIS tools.
  • Demonstrated success in managing full HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and employee engagement.
  • Experience transitioning HR functions from third-party to in-house setups is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; postgraduate studies preferred.
