Tech. Stack portfolio project manager is responsible to manage the end-to-end co-ordination and timely renewals of licenses across the portfolio. The duties include the following:

  • Holding accountability for timely renewal of SW licenses, with 9-month window ahead of contract end
  • Proactively anticipating issues, being resourceful in handling removal of roadblocks, escalating without delay when timeline in jeopardy
  • Setting up and tracking of all renewals with weekly follow-ups across all platform/tool owners
    • Leveraging Agile principles, own and run weekly renewals scrum call to ensure progress
  • Key point of contact to initiate, track and complete the documentation needed for Procurement processes, working with platform owners and leadership:
    • Procurement engagement form (9 months before renewal)
    • Deal Review Board (>$200K TCV)
    • Commercial Excellence Board (>$1M TCV)
  • Planning and getting documentation done three quarters ahead of renewals; providing operational and budgetary report of progress and status
  • Partnering with Compliance Lead in the team to document and track Compliance status (CASPR, Infosec, Privacy, Workers Council, Responsible AI, and Data governance) of all platforms / tools
    • Conduit towards IT to initiate, track and followup compliance and communication
  • Leading, documenting and governing the Enterprise IT ESP application inventory in alignment with Marketing platforms, tools, owners and updates
  • Besides overseeing the whole portfolio of SW licenses, as Marketing specialist, covering
  • Partner Marketing, Events and ThousandEyes SW licenses renewals with the corresponding platform owners
  • Identifying and centralizing the tracking of cross-charges "In" (i.e. groups outside CMOs reporting line funding Cisco Marketing)
  • Engaging with IT and Finance teams managing company-wide contracts to ensure proper forecasting and actual billing via cross-charges (e.g. Snowflake, Tableau, GCP, AWS, which require complex calculations and attention to make sure we pay only what we consume replacing Doris)
  • Continuously improving the SW licenses processes to keep them simple while making them more efficient, passing requirements to the License Governance and Scorecard Automation project manager
  • Maintaining and managing all POs documentation in consistent naming convention and stored in SharePoint
  • Maintaining and managing Tech. Stack platforms and licenses Sharepoint info on inventory, processes and key contacts
  • Handling unexpected requests coming to Tech. Stack team when bandwidth is short Cisco Confidential
  • For example, reconciling information between teams on budgets for licenses (e.g. between ZBB file, Allocadia, SW licenses data)
