Qualifications:

  • Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Required: Certified Six Sigma Green Belt with experience in leading multiple process improvement initiatives.
  • Preferred: Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and experience in handling various process improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in process improvement or related roles is preferred.
  • Open to working at both client and Cognizant locations within Metro Manila.
  • Must be flexible to work on a shifting schedule, including mid-shift to graveyard shifts, as well as holidays and weekends when necessary.
  • Preferably candidates at the Manager level or higher, with a focus on Process Excellence or Six Sigma.


Job Description:

  • Manages and delivers large-scale, complex initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Utilizes DMAIC or Kaizen approacheswhichever aligns best with business needs, including potential automation solutionswhile proactively assessing and mitigating project risks.
  • Assists in identifying improvement opportunities aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Tracks monthly Process Excellence metrics to ensure targets related to cost, efficiency, compliance, and quality are achieved.
  • Consistently demonstrates leadership in driving change across the organization; facilitates progress review meetings with leadership.
  • Participates in regular performance discussions with clients (weekly, monthly, quarterly), providing insights and identifying areas for further improvement.
  • Works with the Strategic Operations Team to ensure all financial models receive proper approval. Trains and develops Blue Belts, Green Belts, managers, and their teams in Lean, continuous improvement, project management, and business integration methodologies
  • Designs and implements new processes to support workflow changes resulting from new business or changes in scope.
  • Reviews internal risk and compliance strategies, promotes awareness of compliance protocols, and gathers/analyzes data related to risk and compliance training, reporting, and assessments.
