Role Overview
The Business Development Head will lead the company's nationwide site acquisition and leasing initiatives, identifying high-potential locations that support strategic business expansion. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end property sourcing, market evaluation, lease negotiation, and relationship management with landlords, developers, and key stakeholders. The position also oversees site expansion strategies across multiple brands and business formats.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate Management, or any related field.
  • Must have at least 20 years of relevant experience in business development, site acquisition, leasing, or expansion management; including 10 years of leadership experience, preferably currently holding a senior managerial or leadership position.
  • Proven experience within the F&B, QSR, retail, or related industries is required.
  • Strong background in identifying and acquiring commercial sites, lease negotiations, and network expansion strategies.
  • Must have extensive experience managing nationwide operations and conducting frequent site visits.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, market assessment, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall site acquisition and business expansion strategy across nationwide operations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic locations aligned with business growth objectives and commercial viability.
  • Conduct market research, site feasibility studies, trade area analysis, and competitor mapping to assess location potential.
  • Manage end-to-end leasing processes including site sourcing, negotiations, lease renewals, contract reviews, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property developers, brokers, mall operators, and other external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, construction, finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and site turnover.
  • Oversee site visits, property assessments, and location due diligence to ensure compliance with operational and commercial requirements.
  • Develop expansion plans, pipeline reports, and market insights for leadership review and strategic planning.
  • Ensure all leasing and acquisition activities are aligned with company standards, timelines, budgets, and legal requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the business development and leasing team, ensuring operational efficiency and achievement of expansion targets.
