Azure Cloud Architect (Accounting Firm)

Work Setup: Monday to Friday, 3 days onsite, 2 days wfh

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage system and network administration activities, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, user account maintenance, and coordination with IT and infrastructure teams.
• Oversee cloud environment operations (e.g., Azure), supporting architecture decisions and collaborating with developers and cross-functional technical teams.
• Contribute to cloud strategy development, including multi-year roadmaps, technology evaluation, and identification of cost optimization and value creation opportunities.
• Lead IT engineering initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of solutions within scope, budget, and resource constraints, while supporting capacity planning and system enhancements.
• Provide technical support and client-facing engagement, ensuring compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO), addressing inquiries, and participating in client meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–7 years of experience in systems administration or cloud engineering, with strong exposure to Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies and core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud systems.
• Skilled in cloud cost optimization, service selection, and migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
