About the job Business Development Specialist
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the assigned territory. The role focuses on expanding the client base, penetrating local industries, and promoting end-to-end logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new clients across industries such as FMCG, retail, manufacturing, and trading.
- Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis within the region.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, and industry referrals.
- Prepare commercial proposals and pricing solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure feasibility and service capability before closing deals.
- Achieve assigned revenue and client acquisition targets.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting reports.
- Represent the company in local industry events and business forums.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related course.
- 2–5 years experience in B2B sales or business development (logistics background is an advantage).
- Strong prospecting and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven and comfortable with field-based selling.
- Familiarity with regional business landscape in Tacloban.
