The Finance Manager will oversee the companys day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring strong cash flow management, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires hands-on leadership in managing high-volume vendor disbursements, monitoring liquidity, and supporting management with financial insights in a fast-paced environment.

The position reports to senior leadership and plays a key role in maintaining financial discipline and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

2. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor daily and weekly cash positions
  • Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and liquidity plans
  • Ensure timely funding of operational requirements
  • Coordinate with banks regarding transactions and routine treasury matters

3. Vendor & Disbursement Management

  • Oversee high-volume vendor payment processing
  • Implement proper approval workflows and disbursement controls
  • Monitor payables aging and ensure timely settlement
  • Maintain professional relationships with vendors and resolve payment concerns

4. Budgeting & Performance Monitoring

  • Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for key financial movements
  • Support department heads with financial planning inputs

5. Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure timely tax filings and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate external audit requirements and prepare supporting schedules
  • Maintain and strengthen internal control procedures

6. Team Supervision

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Ensure proper task allocation and performance monitoring
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • CPA preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Finance Manager or senior accounting role
  • Strong background in cash flow monitoring and vendor payment oversight
  • Experience in fast-paced or multi-entity environments preferred
  • Proficient in accounting systems and financial reporting tools
