Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will provide accurate and insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role involves leading the budgeting process, monitoring performance against forecasts, and providing recommendations on capital projects and other enterprise initiatives. The position requires strong collaboration across business units and the ability to present financial insights effectively to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • With at least 6–7 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and consolidation, including minimum 3 years of people management experience.
  • Strong exposure to corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, and investment appraisal.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling at a corporate level.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud, Excel, and other financial systems.
  • Experience in real estate or infrastructure sectors is an advantage but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports comparing performance to budgets or forecasts, highlighting trends and key insights for management decisions.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including consolidation, validation, challenge of submissions, risk identification, and presentation to stakeholders for approval.
  • Analyze capital expenditure and enterprise projects, providing recommendations aligned with strategic objectives and ensuring financial risks are appropriately flagged.
  • Review divisional and enterprise initiatives to capture financial impacts (CAPEX/OPEX) and ensure accurate reporting to management.
  • Act as system owner/administrator for SAP Analytics Cloud, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting processes.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand operational requirements and provide actionable financial insights for decision-making.
