Key Responsibilities
Process Excellence & Transformation
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes across retail operations, supply chain, and support functions
- Establish standardized operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and governance frameworks
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to eliminate inefficiencies and optimize productivity
- Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions aligned with business growth
Operational Build & Ground Execution
- Work closely with operations teams on the ground (stores, warehouses, distribution) to understand real-time challenges and implement practical solutions
- Lead the setup and optimization of new business units, store networks, or operational functions from scratch
- Ensure processes are executable, sustainable, and aligned with actual field conditions
Strategic Planning & Business Alignment
- Partner with senior leadership to align process excellence initiatives with overall business strategy and expansion plans
- Translate business goals into actionable operational frameworks and execution plans
- Support organizational scaling through structured process design and capability building
Performance Management & Analytics
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track operational efficiency, productivity, and quality
- Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership to drive informed decision-making
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with key departments such as Operations, Supply Chain, Merchandising, HR, and Finance
- Ensure alignment and adoption of process improvements across all business units
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing process excellence team
- Develop training programs and tools to ensure adoption of new processes and systems
- Act as a change leader, driving transformation and influencing stakeholders at all levels
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- At least 10–15 years of experience in operations, process excellence, or business transformation
- Extensive hands-on experience in retail, FMCG, or manufacturing environments
- Proven track record in building operations or processes from scratch and scaling them successfully
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (Black belt certification)
