The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing and growing strategic national accounts, primarily within the FMCG sector. This role focuses on client relationship management, contract retention, revenue expansion, and operational alignment to ensure service excellence across multiple distribution touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop relationships with assigned national key accounts (primarily FMCG clients).
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for commercial and service-related matters.
  • Drive revenue growth through contract renewals, rate negotiations, and cross-selling of logistics solutions (warehousing, transport, distribution, value-added services).
  • Align with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure SLA adherence and service performance.
  • Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs/MBRs) with clients, presenting performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor account profitability, cost structures, and margin performance.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Lead contract discussions and support bidding for expansions within national accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years experience in key account management, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding, or FMCG distribution.
  • Strong understanding of national account structures and FMCG supply chain requirements.
  • Proven experience handling high-volume, multi-location accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially driven with strong analytical capability.
